Biography: Rafael Scarelli is a PhD student at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, since 2020. His research is currently dedicated to the artistic bronze casting in Argentina and Brazil between the 19th and the 20th centuries. At the same university, he also carried out research on two public monuments in Lima, the capital of Peru: the Monument to Dos de Mayo and the Monument to Bolognesi.
