Biography: I'm a writer with more than 20 years of professional experience writing for theatre, film, and television. I'm also an academic with a PhD in Media Arts and Drama, specialized in surrealism and adaptation. My dissertation consisted in an in depth analysis of Buñuel and Dalí’s film Un Chien Andalou, from the partspective of the Spanish literary avant-garde. As a writer, I have collaborated with artists from all over the world and have staged my work at many countries around Europe, as well as the US and Mexico and I was also a part of a group of writers that was nominated for an Emmy for our work with the television series “Al Otro lado del Muro”, broadcasted at NBC/Telemundo. I’m currently teaching drama at the master’s programme in Theatre, at the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja.
